Wolf Hollow (Wolf Hollow Shifters, Book 1) by Nikki Jefford #WolfHollow

 OUT TODAY!

Blurb:

A REBELLIOUS OUTCAST

Cocky. Coy. Wolf shifter. Tabor is the hollow’s only half-breed, scorned and forbidden to use his powers. Constantly overlooked despite his strengths, Tabor believes Sasha is as shortsighted as the rest of the pack until she proves there’s more to her than a blindly obedient lapdog to the council.

A DUTIFUL PUREBLOOD

Spirited, stubborn, and deeply loyal, Sasha feels the pressure from her pack to claim another pureblood, yet no one is brazen enough to defy the elders and toy with her . . . no one besides a sexy, hotheaded half-breed.

AN ATTRACTION THAT THREATENS THE FUTURE OF THE PACK

Bewildered by the deceptively proud and surprisingly sensual Sasha, Tabor would risk everything to claim her. Despite her vanishing bloodline, Sasha can’t resist the charismatic half-breed even as predators threaten their pack and the elders pressure her to breed with a pureblood.

In a fantastical post-apocalyptic world, where only the strongest survive, sometimes trusting the heart is the bravest act of all.

*Wolf Hollow is an adult fantasy romance.

I must admit that it took me some time to get into it because it started nice and seemingly foreseeable ...until it wasn't like that anymore. Every time I thought that something happened like I had expected it to happen, there was a twist and it changed and became something completely different.

This book surprised me and it shocked me, it made me furious and I was shocked once more by the things happening in it - and more than anything I hoped that Sasha would overcome her upbringing and its confines and would go for the life she wanted to live with the guy she wanted to be with.

Sasha and Tabor are both unique and very likable characters. Both are different and set apart from the rest of the pack due to their upbringing. The pure-blood and the half-breed - not a combination that the Elders will approve of but perhaps...

This book was a great shifter story with lots of action and romance and love and...well, the rather unromantic but hands-on version of love. It is about people making their own rules and people hating others because they are different, people considering others to be inferior whereas in reality if they took a closer look they would see something very different and might perhaps even realize that without the help of this inferior one things might get a lot harder for everyone.

Shifters in an apocalyptic world, fighting creatures out of nightmares, humans who are not much better - and their own prejudices.

I loved to see things change and I must admit that even though I am a bit wary now as I am not sure what this new addition to the pack will bring and I sincerely hope that Raider will understand what I expect from him and won't make a mistake but I absolutely have to know more about Sasha and Tabor and how their story continues, so I am waiting rather anxiously for the next book in this amazing new series!
