Wow, I guess, I should start charging the authors for the hankies that I need while reading their books.... So sad and so beautiful – despite the fact that I never even liked Stephanie before. Until now.

Welllll, back to square one – it says something about an author and his books when I preorder a book because I don't want to miss it. Among these books are the books of the „Wait for you-Series“ by Jennifer Armentrout aka J. Lynn. I really like her writing and especially this series is one of my favourite. Each of the couples in the books have a hard time finding their way to each other because of the bad experiences they made before meeting the other one but despite that each couple but despite that each of the couples has its own unique story that never slips into a repeat of the other books. Each of the characters is special and authentique and the reader quickly relates to them.

If you don't know the other books of the series, you definitely missed something but at least each of the books can be read as a stand-alone. Those who know the other books have already met Stephanie. I must admit that I never really liked her but that changed immediately when I started reading this book. This book is about Stephanie and Nick. After having read “Stay with me” or “Fall with me” the attentive reader knows Nick as well but I felt that you get just a rather vague idea of his character there. 

 

“Vague” is history now. In this book Nick turns out to a really interesting character who doesn't just Stephanie's heart slowly but steadily but mine as well!

After having finished college Stephanie moves to Plymouth Meeting for her first job where she meets Nick on her first day there. Meeting him, she doesn't know yet that this breif encpunter will change her life and of course she doesn't know either that this is the place where half the people from Shepherd College like Cam, Avery, Teresa, Jase and some others meet.

I really liked the way the characters developed and in no time I mutated from a Stephanie-critic to a fan of hers. Nick changed incredibly before my very eyes as well. I stuck to the pages like I was glued to them and I think it speaks for itself that I fiund the book on my kindle in the morning and finished it in the afternoon.

As usual this book consists of a brilliant writing paired with convincing and authentic characters and a heartwarming story - in short: highly recommendable!
