Okay, apart from the fact that the story is a teeny tiny bit far fetched, I really enjoyed reading this book.
It is lively written and has some very charming and well developed characters so once started, it wasn't easy to put the book down.

Realistic or not, the story itself is well spun and I had fun reading about Josie and Thomas and their blossoming relationship even though those two sometimes made me a bit mad.
I also loved the minor characters a lot. Josie's brothers were always good for a laugh and I really loved Josie's mother and her warm nature. Thomas had me worrying a bit when it seemed that he didn't realize what was good for him but I never gave up hope that he would come to his senses and see what really counts.
The fast paced story has some nice twists and turns and is very easy to read. One shouldn't question some things overmuch otherwise it might seem a bit unrealistic that Josie has been able to hide her secret that long and that no one seems to have cared up to now. Some other aspects might come up as well but apart from that it is a really enjoyable story about two people who have been hurt, who don't feel secure in their position in life because of their parentage or as in Thomas' case because of a terrible event that did not just cost him his career, his identity but that also almost claimed his life.
I enjoyed to see how those two fight all the way while they slowly start to heal each other and start to build something precious.
Not the most realistic book I've ever read but nontheless a book that I really enjoyed.
