If you have read and enjoyed Wait with Me and Next in Line, you have probably already been waiting for this book to finally come out. I loved all of the books in this series so far and this one fits right in there as well. Meeting old friends and new, we learn about the creative magic of ...oh, wait, not a waiting room but a cafeteria. And don't forget the French silk pie...When frustration and anger turn into attraction, things might get heated and when you find yourself in the ER and your doctor has to tell you that you are pregnant and you have to tell him that he is about to become a father, well..... things get really interesting.
Once again Amy Daws could captivate me with this story, she made me laugh and feel with her hero and her heroine even though our hero made me despair sometimes with his self-torture. Yes, what happened was hard and tragic but that doesn't explain why he was unable to move on or at least, well, deal with it. Sometimes the part of "I can't love anybody" and "I don't talk about my former life because it's too hard" was a bit too much. Apart from that though, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and loved to see these two find love and their own happy ever after.
