The Girl Who Cried Werewolf (Of Fates & Fables Book 1) by Heather Hildenbrand and Bam Shepherd #TheGirlWhoCriedWerewolf

#
by
Heather Hildenbrand and Bam Shepherd

Book Boyfriends are real. Pass it on.

Professional book blogger Romy Cartelli may have cried werewolf once or twice. Hell, she’s even cried vampire, warlock, and dragon their fair share of times—because, as every dedicated reader knows, one book boyfriend is never enough.

And her followers love it…until they don’t.

Sure, Romy is being stalked by a sexy werewolf, but she’s got bigger issues to deal with. Like the fact that he might be a murderer. Or worse yet, that she got drunk and told all of her followers that werewolves actually exist. Then she fails to prove it.

Cue the trolling and the haters.

Now Romy’s out to prove she’s not crazy and win back her followers. But as she sets out to clear her name, she’ll discover there are bigger dangers awaiting her than internet infamy.

This book had it all, it made me laugh, and groan, roll my eyes, rant and grouch....while keeping me glued to my reader till the end. And you know what? When you come to the end and realize that this isn't the end but en end "for now" and that you really really need the next book RIGHT NOW...you know that you've read a great book!

I loved the characters despite the fact that Romy's absolute dedication to her job aka her blog made me a bit mad because I told her about a thousand times that this or that was really a bad idea or that she definitely shouldn't do whatever she was doing at that time and ... yep, you get the gist. Right, I really loved those two though and I absolutely loved the chemistry between Kash and Romy.
Kash has a hard time protecting Romy though considering the fact that she tends to make these bad decisions and, well, we left her in a pretty shitty situation which kind of pr oves my point, right? This girl did cost me a lot of nerves - but I enjoyed every single minute of it!

And now - did I mention that I NEED the next book? Right NOW?!

COVER REVEAL - The Third Best Thing (Fulton U #3) by Maya Hughes #TheThirdBestThing

The Third Best Thing by Maya Hughes, the third book in her amazing Fulton U series,

will go live on January 30th!

Look at this gorgeous cover by Najla Qamber:

BLURB

Dear Letter Girl, I need to see you. When can we meet?

Her response never came. My secret pen pal with a dirty mind has ghosted me. I've roped Jules, my sweet as pie next-door neighbor, to help me track her down.

There's only one problem—I'm falling for her. The tortoiseshell glasses, out of this world curves and delicious treats are making the search for The Letter Girl even harder.

My notes were supposed to be a one-time thing. A little too much wine and naughty thoughts on a winter's night. I never thought Berk would write back. I wanted to tell him it was me, but the fear of rejection kept my lips sealed.

Now he’s enlisted my help to track down The Letter Girl and our search has him hot on my, ahem, her trail.

She's the girl next door.

He's my secret pen pal.

Truth is on a collision course with their hearts and it’s only a matter of time before one of them gets wrecked...

EXCERPT

How can you lose someone you’ve never met? The Letter Girl had careened into my life like a damn smash and grab pro and wormed her way into my heart before I knew what happened.
She was everything I’d ever wanted in a girl. Hot as hell. Smart and caring. The slow slide of the notes from X-rated to something more caught me off guard, but she became someone I could talk to. Someone I could share parts of myself that I didn’t share with other people. Even if she didn’t know everything about my past, she knew more than most.
No one wanted to be sexy pen pals with a former foster kid with almost no one in the whole world. Nah, that was for the college senior, soon to be pro athlete.

Don’t ever let anyone see things bother you; I learned that in foster home number four. If everything’s a joke, there’s nothing they can do to hurt you, but losing TLG when I thought I’d finally found someone who knew me for me and actually gave a shit? That hurt. It was an unexpected squeeze on my heart every so often that made it hard to breathe.
Jules slid her hand closer, herky-jerky like she was in a stop motion animation movie before it finally landed on top of mine with a gentle pat. “Is it really that important for you to find her?”
I shrugged. “Maybe not. She probably got tired of trying to figure out my fucking chicken scratch.” I forced out a laugh through the tightness in my chest.
“Once the season starts things will be crazy for you, right?”
“You’re right. I guess I’m fixating because not much else is going on.” No, this would always be a question I needed answered. Who is TLG and did all the things we’d written about mean as much to her as they meant to me?

If you want to start right there where it began....check out the other books in this series, starting with...

Free in Kindle Unlimited

I really freaking loved these books and can't wait for The Third Best Thing to hit my kindle! This story will be amazing! Check them out, you'll love them!

The Art of Kissing Beneath the Mistletoe (Imposters #3) by Tanya Anne Crosby #KissingBeneathTheMistletoe

by

Synopsis

Once upon a time, Alexandra Grace Huntington believed in fairy tales. She oohed and aahed over gowns from Courtauld’s, never wore black unless in mourning, always minded her social graces, and never, ever indulged her inner bluestocking. Now her world has come crashing down like a thousands shards of glass. Her father is a dastard, her mother blames her for taking his side. (Rightly so, considering what Lexie has learned.) She’s home alone for the holidays, all alone, no siblings, no friends, and not a shred of pride remaining. But that’s all well and good, so far as Alexandra is concerned because everything she thought she knew was wrong. Her best friend, Claire Wentworth had it right all along, and the Universe had seen fit to reward Claire with, of all things, a crown (quite literally). However, while Lexie once aspired to the same, she has changed. When she’s unexpectedly invited to celebrate one last holiday with her best friend, she can’t accept quickly enough… only how did one comport oneself after everything that was said and done?
Benjamin W. Wentworth III, the seventh Earl of Highbury, has been through his own travails. He nearly drove his family to ruin, and now, after spending weeks in debtor’s prison because of Alexandra's father, and coming shockingly close to losing his life and endangering his sweet sister, he realizes that all that glitters is simply not gold. The last thing he desires is to saddle himself with a woman like Alexandra Huntington, with whom he once shared a passion for the Season. Now, he’d rather choke himself with a silk cravat than endure an instant with someone so vain, so self-indulgent, so giddy and witless. He only wishes his sister would leave off with the holiday matchmaking—mustn't she realize how much he has changed?  When Lexie arrives to celebrate one final Christmas before his sister leaves for Meridian, it is all he can do to avoid the empty-headed chit. Unfortunately, his sister and her friends have festooned the entire house with mistletoe, and to make matters worse, Lexie is proving to be someone else entirely, and he’s about to remember the art of kissing beneath the mistletoe.

Did you read the other books in this series? If not - go back and do it, they are totally worth it! And if you have...did you ever think about Alexandra, Claire's best friend and the daughter of the one...well, you know?

This brand-new book is about Alexandra's story and it is also about Claire's brother Ben. After everything that happened in A Crown for a Lady, the second book in the Impostor series, I loved to see those two find love and happiness even if their way wasn't straight and it wasn't without the one or the other bump on their road to happiness. I mean, they already knew that the other one is annoying and not exactly their favorite person, don't they?
Well, this would not be a story about kissing and mistletoes on Christmas if life didn't have a big surprise for both of them in store - and maybe even a happy end.

I really enjoyed this charming addition to this series and can recommend it even if it is not Christmas just because it is a wonderful story!

If the other two books sound familiar  - these two books were relaunched last autumn with a new cover and a new title. The original titles were The Impostor's Kiss and The Impostor Prince.

Today bestselling author Rebecca Shea, is coming January 27th and we have the first

It was the only thing Andrew McPherson and Grace Morgan could afford.

Sexy.
Unforgettable.

They promised they would never see each other again, but fate had other plans.

Andrew's entire life has been spent working toward one goal—to own the top advertising and public relations company in the world. He's driven, ruthless when it comes to business, never letting anything stand in his way . . . until Grace.

Andrew knows better than to get involved with a woman who is completely off limits, but he never backs down from what he wants, and he won't stop until Grace is his . . . only this might cost him more than he's willing to give.

Sneak Peek:

The office is just starting to come alive when I slide into my cube. The weather—on top of it being the first day after a long holiday weekend—has everyone getting a late, lazy start. I fire up my laptop just as Jamie comes gliding across the floor, carrying two cups of coffee. I smile at her, and she smiles back. I wouldn’t know what to do without her.
You always have my back, don’t you?” I say as she shoves the cup of steaming cardboard at me.
Always.” She side-eyes me sarcastically. “Except when you ignore my texts and calls for an entire weekend.”
I glance away from her and hold the coffee between both of my hands, letting the contents of the cup warm my fingers. “Guilty,” I manage between sips of the hot liquid. “And I’m sorry. It’s just been so crazy, I don’t even know what to tell you or where to start—”
She cuts me off in her endearing, commanding way. “How about we pick up where we left off on Friday.” Her eyebrows raise knowingly, and I pinch my eyes closed, feeling awful for ignoring her.
I glance across the office and notice that Drew’s office lights are still off, which means he hasn’t arrived yet. I heave a sigh of relief, knowing that he’s not here and I can catch up with Jamie before he arrives. I stand up and reach for Jamie’s hand.
Conference room,” I tell her, nodding toward the dark room. I drag her down the hall and the room lights up when we enter thanks to the motion sensors. I close and lock the door, drawing the privacy screens next so people can’t see us.
Throwing herself into a chair, Jamie grins at me. “Must be good if we have to talk about it in a conference room.” She spins in her chair like an excited little girl.
I can’t have anyone in the office knowing about this,” I tell Jamie seriously. “I can’t have this jeopardize my career or have anyone thinking I’m doing anything inappropriate,” I start.
Her eyes widen like she knows this is going to be juicy, but she says with all seriousness, “I know. I didn’t mean it like that—”
Jamie,” I cut her off. “I need you to promise me you’ll keep this under wraps. I need this job, I love this job. I’ve loved this job long before Mr. McPherson bought the company…”
Is that what you call him? Mr. McPherson?” she interrupts with a giggle. “Deeper, Mr. McPherson,” she jokingly says and I roll my eyes. “Okay, sorry. I’ll be serious now.” She straightens up in her chair and pulls her coffee to her. “Tell me everything.”
I sit next to Jamie and start from Friday night. I tell her about the elevator, our night at the hotel, condo shopping, dinner, furniture shopping, and even about our picnic. I tell her I confessed about my money problems, problems even Jamie doesn’t know the gritty details of. She knows I’ve got shit to take care of, but she doesn’t know the extent of it. Jamie listens intently as I tell her everything. When I finally finish, she simply stares at me.
Damn,” she murmurs, dazed. “You guys jumped right into this, didn’t you?”
I can’t do anything but nod my damn head in response. “I know, and it fucking scares me.”

an all-new full-length, enemies-to-lovers, high school standalone romance

from Ilsa Madden-Mills is coming

February 2nd!

The rich and popular Sharks rule at prestigious, ivy-covered Camden Prep. Once upon a time, I wanted to be part of their world—until one of them destroyed me.
The last thing I expected was an anonymous love letter from one of them.
Please. I hate every one of those rich jerks for what they did to me. The question is, which Shark is my secret admirer: Knox, the scarred quarterback and their leader, Dane, his twin brother, or Chance, the ex who dumped me...

Dear Ava,
Your eyes are the color of the Caribbean Sea.</del>
That’s stupid.
What I really mean is, you look at me and I feel something REAL.
It’s been ten months since you were here, but I can’t forget you.
I’ve missed seeing you walk down the hall.
I’ve missed you cheering at my football games.
I’ve missed the smell of your hair.
The truth is, I wanted you back then—but you had him.
And then everything fell apart that night.
Don’t hate me because I’m a Shark.
I just want to make you mine.
Still.

Every time I think that I can't fall more for a couple than I did with those in her last book, Jessica Prince releases a new book... Seriously though, I really loved her other books but despite some smaller issues, this book absolutely drew me in. When I wanted to write this review, I ended up rereading the whole book because I simply couldn't stop!

Not only did our heroine Farah have a family whose neglectful and careless ways weren't getting any better just because they had all this money but something happened in her past that made her flee from her former life. She gave up everything in order to learn not only to survive but to thrive - and Redemption just might be the right place for that!
Cannon though, well,....he and his ...very ...open-minded attitude towards women...really made me mad sometimes and I could have kicked him a bit in his behind but he is there for her when Farah really needs him and helps her overcome her past. He and all her newfound friends do everything to help her heal.

I really enjoyed reading this book and I can't wait to read the next books in this new series, a spin-off of the Hope Valley series that I absolutely loved as well.

Lifting the beer bottle to my lips, I took a pull as I stared around in wonder at my new house. Typically, I would have toasted something as awesome as moving into my brand new dream home with a glass of champagne, but I lived in a biker town and I was dating a biker. There was no way the people in my life now were going to drink champagne, so when Darla and Buck showed up to join in the celebration, they brought a case of beer with them.
And I was just fine with that.
The last moving truck had taken off five minutes earlier, and even though every piece of furniture was right where it was supposed to be, there was still a lot of work to be done. Unlike Cannon, I fully intended to put my stamp on this beautiful old Victorian. There were boxes to unpack, art and pictures to hang, and toss pillows to toss. It would take several more shopping trips to fill all the space; a challenge I was more than up for.
But all of that could wait. I was finally home, and that was the only thing that mattered to me.
Clay and his men had done better than I could have imagined. Every room was warm and inviting and absolutely perfect. They’d even worked a miracle with my bedroom walls. You couldn’t even see the crappy paint job I’d done when you looked at it now.
I thought back to that very first day, when I’d stepped through that front door into a dilapidated pit. I thought back to the warmth rooting in my chest, and I knew I’d never forget that moment, because it was the exact same warmth I felt as I looked at all my friends and family gathered in my new kitchen, drinking beer and cutting up.
Bennett and Jase were there. Cannon, Shane, Brantley, and Poppy. Banks had shown up with Bev earlier to help with the move. Scooter was there with his wife, along with Danno and Fletch. Several of my regulars at the bar had come bearing housewarming gifts. Everyone I cared about was standing in this room, and as I looked around, I discovered something that had me dangerously close to tears.
I didn’t have enough chairs.
What’s on your mind, sweet pea?” Jase asked, coming over and slinging his arm around my shoulders. “This is supposed to be a happy day, and you look like you’re about to start crying.”
I don’t have enough chairs,” I whispered, my voice scratchy with emotion.
He looked down at me like I had lost my mind. “You’re about to burst into tears because you don’t have enough chairs? That’s an easy enough fix, Farah. Or have you forgotten you’re loaded?”
I let out a watery laugh and smacked him in his stomach. “It’s not that, you jerk. I’m not upset.”
Then what is it?”
All my life, I’ve only had two people, Jase. You and Bennett, that’s it. And that was always enough for me. I was lucky, having the two of you. But now . . . now I have this.” I waved my arm out. “Now I have so many people who mean something to me that I don’t have enough chairs for them all to sit in. So, yeah, I’m close to crying, but it’s only because I’m incredibly, stupidly happy.”
