The two of them are poles apart.

A new full length, New Adult romance from international bestselling author Kirsty Moseley.

„Poles apart“ is a sweet book even though it is soemtimes rather predictable and then there're times where I just could shake the protagonists just s tiny tiny bit because they're just sooo stupid! But – I liked the book, I even liked it so much that I read it again right after finishing it.

Carson Matthews is a young and successful racing motorcyclist who spends his weekends at Angels gentkemen's Club just to meet there one of the lap dancers, Emma Bancroft. For Emma, who is a student by day, but tries desperately to earn enough money to make ends meet, those weekends, when Carson is around, are also something special as she has been in love with him for years now.

Emma's life isn't easy at all since she was 16 when she suddenly had to survive on her own and there're time where the money doesn't last till the end of the week....

All of a sudden things are set in motion and overnight everything has changed especially when Carson discovers Emma's deepest secret....

The characters are well developed but I must admit that sometimes their decisions and their actions drove me to desperation. I was sometimes driven to try and brake my e-reader in frustration because none of the protagonists did what I wanted them to do.

Carson and Emma are both hurt and both try desperately to protect themselves without ever realizing that they both want the same and their dreams are alike.

Even though most times I knew where things were heading I mus admit that I had to use my handkerchief a bit - at leat when I wasn't threatening my reader or had to ground my teeth because I was so furious.

Both, Carson and Emma, are really nice and I liked them from the first page on which made it a bit easier to forgive them for making me so angry – and frustrated, defintiely frustrated.
The other characters were very likable as well and on the whole they were also well developed.

Some things are a bit overdone, some things made me wonder but on the whole I realy liked the book and will read it again.

No matter what – those of you who like a bit of drama and some heartbreak and won't destroy your e-readers if the protagonists don't toe the line might like this book as well!

★★★
