I loved this book and I really really loved Mari and Cosmo, they're such amazing characters! When Cosmo Dumsmore, the wayward son of the Marquess of Alridge, meets Mari, his Fallen Angel - literally fallen, as she lands on him when she comes crashing down with her parachute - he doesn't know yet that this woman will turn his life upside down. Mari Lamarre, aeronaut, fascinating woman and -maybe- a spy, may be exactly what Cosmo needs but is he the one who can make her forget her past and her losses? While they try to come to terms with their mutual attraction under circumstances that are less than favourable they have to find out where their loyalties lie and how much they can trust each other. And then there's the little question of a potential murderer running free and of course there's also the list. A very dangerous list in the wrong hands....

This book captivated me right from the first page and I couldn't put it down till the end. It is thrilling and fast-paced, well written and keeps you glued to the pages. When I thought about the other characters afterwards, I realized that I don't know much about them because I was so absorbed in the story of Cosmo and Mari when reading the book. Whenever they meet there are definitely some (more) sparks and you just feel that they are good for each other and that they belong to each other. Well, at least they would belong to each other if there wasn't the teeny tiny question of espionnage and of social status and ...well, yeah.

Heroes with lots and lots of chemistry, spys, lost loves and the aftermath of a bloody revolution - this book has it all. It's a wonderful and brilliant story that makes you sigh and sport some goofy grins, it makes you laugh out loud and it makes you turn the pages anxiously, faster and faster because you just have to know...

As I said at the beginning - I really loved the story and I know that this was definitely not the last time that I read this book.
