...that I got today and I must say that I fell in love with it right away:
It is beautiful and I've found so many amazing poems in it already and I love how they always come with a little explanation as well. Just a couple of words reagarding the author or the background of the poem. Nothing too serious but interesting and sometimes it helps to understand the poem.
A brilliant choice of poems, one for each day of the year. This is a book that you can read again and again and again, one poem for every night, every year and they are beautiful and well chosen. A very broad variety, interesting, sometimes it's a poem with a historical background or simply something to enjoy.
The golden shimmer of the title and the colourful cover - this book is not just beautiful on the inside but also on the outside. A lovingly painted pattern with animals, plants, stars, the moon and the sun that invites the onlooker to linger and to look a bit closer.
I really love this book and I'm looking forward to many nights with it and its contents.
